And say: What was your mother? A lioness! Among lions she crouched; in the midst of young lions she reared her cubs.

In the year 2019, Patrecia Cabarles was first deployed by the Anchor International Manpower Services Inc. (AIMSI) , as a Domestic Helper in Saudi. Her motivation? Her family’s better future. When the world change during the COVID-19, she persevere and continue her working until she finished her contract. And in the year 2022, Patrecia is back in her home country.

Patrecia Cabarles 2026

When February 2026 comes, this brave mother once again decided to go abroad. She knows that once June has come and the new school year started, this is the last year in college of her oldest child. And her second one will be in the third year of college.

She knows that in the same time next year there will be more expenses for the graduation of her oldest kid. They need to be prepared and this motivates her to work again abroad.

Patrecia contacted her previous agency AIMSI and passed her application form.  Her fiery determination was blocked when the agency informed her that with her age of 48 years old it’ll be hard to find an employer for her. Despite of this news, the fire in her heart did not die.  Her answer with this sad news was still full of determination and hope. She will wait, because she knows that the her age doesn’t mean she is weak but it means she more experienced than the other applicants.

And her patience bore fruit because on June of 2026 an employer chose her. Without wasting anymore time, she undergone her medical in Iloilo. Lo and behold she is immediately fit to work and without any medical pending, the proof that she is very healthy despite her age.

Once her contract was release, Patrecia is set to travel to Manila for her schedules. And when July comes, she is already set to be deployed again on the 11th of July.

Before her deployment we asked her, what is the advice she can share to others. “Magpursigi lagi. [to always persevere.]”  is the first thing she said. She also added not to get swayed by stress and sadness. To always think the reason you are fighting is not only for you but for your family’s future. When asked why she picked to apply in AIMSI once again, she replied because she trusted this agency and glad that she knows that she is always monitored by the welfare staff.

Patrecia Cabarles journeyed once again in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to show that this mother will always persevere for the sake of her family. Hope to see you again ate Patrecia!
